Gorgeous Furnished Casting Space Available with Wi-Fi
Reasonable Daily rentals for Casting, Screening, Auditions and Administrative Uses
Way back in 1887 an architectural rock star by the name of AJ Lennox ( Architect of Old City Hall, Casa Loma ) built our loft at 680 Yonge Street – in fact he built our whole building.
Recently, word’s got out that we have rather nice studio spaces. After extensively restoring our new home we must say – We agree.
So much so that we’ve been renting out some of our spaces on a daily basis to casting directors and those in the industry looking for a place to call home for a day or two.
Some of you will remember the old Central Casting Offices on Yonge – well that’s where we are.
We house a photo studio, administrative offices, reception area (you supply your own greeter), interview offices and a public washroom. We also supply signage for your special day.
First impressions really do matter – this said, the CA7 Loft is really a very special place conveniently located at Yonge and Bloor.
We have a fully operational state of the art recording studio and photo studio amongst some of the cosiest offices you’ll ever see.

She is engaging, fun and very informative. Look for her on TVO!

If you are reading this, chances are that you, your child, or significant other maybe interested in breaking into the acting or modeling industry. I’m sure you have many questions. We’re ready for them when you are. If you are an absolute beginner our agency should be exactly what you are looking for. CA specializes in launching first timers. We are the only agency in Toronto to do this.
Our actors and models have been featured in many ads, commercials and billboards, and some of our talent have booked roles in television shows or been cast for minor roles in movies. We do not book for non-paying or deferred rate jobs. Some of our big clients that recently booked our new faces include Canadian Tire & the 2010 Winter Olympics, Nikon, Swiss Chalet, Corel, Campbell’s, Sony, Ikea, Wonderbread, Bell, and many more.
Success in this business is largely due to perseverance and hard work. Sounds dramatic? It’s true. So with this in mind we invite you to persevere, to surf on and see what our agency can do for you. For those of you interested in exploring the idea of doing some audio voice over work be sure to visit our sister company 7 Sound Recording Studio.
At CA, we strive to make a difference in the lives of each and every one of our clients. If this is something you have always wanted to explore – maybe it’s time to do something about it.

Ian David Layton
has been an International Professional model since 1997. Within a month of being ‘discovered’ in Calgary, and having his test shots done, he began working in Milan, Italy; subsequently, working in such countries as France, Germany, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong, China, and London, England …to name a few.
“My experience as a professional model for the past 15 years granted me the opportunity to travel, to see parts of the world and other cultures, while doing something I really enjoyed – modelling.
Yes, my journey thus far has been an amazing, adventurous one, however, there are some misconceptions of the modelling industry that seem to exist…”
