Hey there!
I have been signed with CA for about 4 months now and have been on two
auditions. I landed a job on a game show called ManUp!

It was quite the experience! I am more than excited for all the other experiences I hope to

To the entire team,

I had a blast and it is an experience I will not forget. Everyone left quite the impression on me and I just wanted to thank everyone for making the other day one to remember!

Just wanted to pass on my thoughts to anyone on the fence. . .ask yourself this – ‘If not now, then when. . .don’t ask yourself why, ask yourself why not!’

Reasons to take that step. . .Each member of the CA Team is a true gem and they go that extra mile (even if it means coming to find you when you get lost downtown). From the start they are professional and personable, you will feel at ease immediately. Dominique has such a great presence about her and truly wonderful to speak with, ask any question, she is straightforward and honest. Moses is talented and his passion for what he does shines through and he makes the entire shoot feel natural and fun. David is just WOW.

Hi Dominique,

Sydney was so excited for her first audition. She did well, albeit she was a tad nervous. Darren, who conducted the audition, had excellent “kid skills.” Fingers crossed that Syd gets the job! Her first audition was a very positive experience overall, as was her photo shoot with Moses. She can’t wait for her next audition. Speaking as a mom I think the audition alone is a great confidence builder. It allows children to learn how to present themselves and how to maintain grace under pressure.

Hi my name is Pruda Jeevanantham, and I did a music video .I was a silent on camera playing a fan. Being a Silent on camera was a blessing because it was my first time doing something like this.

 I have to admit that I was nervous and scared but what helped me through being nervous and scared is learning to just be you, having fun and to love what you’re doing.  I just want to thank CA Model and Talent for giving me an opportunity to experience something I have never done before.

Hi David,
thanks again for the fabulous photo session! I enjoyed it very much -
you made it fun! The first thing I did is use one of the shots we did
with the fan for my FB profile page – and you wouldn’t believe how
many compliments’ I’ve gotten.
Regarding the two prints, I actually think 9×11 is a bit big – how
about we do one size smaller? (Better suited for a ‘desk frame’). The
pics I’d like to do are #150 and #211.
Please let me know when to pick up!

I would describe C&A as a family company.
A close nit staff, and caring director, have all shown my over the years what it is like to be a part of a company that truly cares about INDIVIDUALS.
Over the years, I have gotten to know David well, and he has helped me to develop many of my talents,
given sound advice, and encouraged me to pursue my dreams….by giving me the practical perspective needed to bring them into reality.

Many of the staff over the years, have responded like caring friends to my many questions and concerns,

Big Talent In Small Places

I like to go to all sorts of small businesses, clothing and book stores, restaurants, clubs, ect. My aim is to find out how small business are marketing themselves just so I can get an idea of how people are advertising their businesses Toronto.
I must say that one of my most pleasurable visits thus far was when I visited CA Model and Talent Inc. Upon meeting the owner, David Cristen, I knew I was in the presence of a man who had stories. And he didn’t disappoint. I spend most of our visit laughing.Allow me to preface this story by saying I discovered CA Model and Talent Management Inc., when they started following me on Twitter. I like to check into all my followers, as is the name of the game.
I discovered their website, which advocated “Real People, Real Results”. I was intrigued. I discovered that CA has been in business since 1992, before the wave of internet-based advertising, and I wanted to see how these guys were making the transition.I had images of high-rise offices, with ivory desks and leather furniture.
The only modeling and talent agencies I have ever seen were Hollywood depictions. My intimidation rapidly fled as I entered CA’s welcoming office located on 14 Irwin Ave. It is small, cozy and, most of all, welcoming. David welcomed me into his office and I soon discovered why a new actor or model would choose a small business talent agency over a huge corporation. David and his team are “real” people themselves. They immediately put one at ease. David was utterly surprised and delighted when he found out that I had discovered the agency via Twitter. “It does work!!!”, he exclaimed joyously. I soon learned that I was in the presence of a man who actually got kicked off of Twitter. He told me that his “tech guy” advised him to get on Twitter and start following people in order to draw attention to his business. As a man who does nothing halfway, he closed his office door, refused to take calls and started following people on Twitter for hours. To his confusion he was booted off the site.

Twitter declared him a spam-bot.“I had no idea. This is what happens to the guy who, when the internet came out, went and spent $150 on books on the internet”, he laughed. But he is devoted to learning. Another refreshing thing about this agency is that they aren’t the cut-throat sharks you see on TV.
He has literally refused pushy mothers who bring their terrified five-year old kids in, who they want to make a star. “Clearly, the kid doesn’t want to do it.”

David isn’t in the game to appease “Mom-agers” as he calls them.CA Model and Talent Management Inc. is another perfect example of the advantages that come when choosing a small business over a large one. You deal with “Real People” and you get “Real Results.
